Hello! So my ethernet port can only support a maximum speed of 100mbps. I know that usually the ethernet port is integrated in the motherboard, but my specific model seems a bit different.  You can see this in the attached image. So, is there any way to upgrade it? Thanks in advance for your answers, and for your time!

Hi,

It is not possible as there is no compatible part with a Gigabit port on it. Even the later series of your model still had 10/100

However you could use a USB 3.0 to Ethernet dongle

Ex:

https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Foldable-Gigabit-Ethernet-Compatible/dp/B00YUU3KC6/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=...

You could also upgrade the wifi module in the notebook or use a fast external wifi USB dongle.

Hope it helps,

David
