Hello, I have 1TB HDD and 128 SSD. The SSD should be M.2 SATA and since the HDD is only 5400 rpm, I think it's slot is SATA 6Gb/s.
I don't want to open the notebook beacause I am worried the warranty would be void.
So I was wondering if there is a spare slot for M.2 PCI-E NVMe inside the notebook.
If not, what would be the best way to upgrade the storage.
Exchange SSD for higher capacity one
Exchange HDD for higher Rpm HDD
or exchange HDD for 500 Gb SSD or more -> I know that the SSD would mean lower storage capacity but I would rather have faster read/write speeds than more storage.
Thanks in advance

From the following link, it ONLY has 128GB SATA M.2 SSD
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06385488
You are saying it also has 5400RPM HDD, that is a bonus. You can upgrade 5400RPM HDD to SSD or faster HDD, up to 2TB (because over 2TB may not fit due to they are thicker).
For SSD please use 2.5" SATA Crucial MX500 or Samsung 860 series.
Regards.
