You have a period of time after warranty expires to extend by buying a Care Pack. The cost varies by model and length of extension.

Hi dipu-123,
There are factors you need to check first.
Where did you purchase the computer?
When did you purchase the computer?
Whats the model? Pavilion? Chromebook? Envy? x360?
Can you provide the product number that ends with #ABA so we could check the available warranty status?
Regards,
ichi

Hi, if you go to support.hp.com you will be presented with a text box where you can enter your service tag for your computer and then it should load your exact computer and allow you to extend you warrenty as desired. Sense you let the warrenty expire the cost might be a little bit higher and nothing should change once the warrenty is extended other than you might get a little bit of tech support from HP and if any hardware fails in the computer within the warrenty period then HP will either replace the dead part or replace your computer all together.
