Does my HP Laptop 14-bp0xx support external GPU, connected to its (yes, it´s there) USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C port?

@Jaakko65,

I reviewed your post and understand that you want to know whether your computer supports external GPU.

I'll be glad to help you 🙂

I checked the specifications of your computer and see that your computer has a USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 port.

If you want a simple card that runs an extra monitor without taking resources from your computer, you can get simple USB graphics cards.

If you want better graphics performance and more sophisticated getting closer to a dedicated card you need something more elaborate with less of a bottleneck than the USB, you’ll need a Thunderbolt (interface).

Your computer doesn’t have a Thunderbolt port and installing an external GPU is not possible.

Hope that answers your question.

Good day! Take care 🙂
