Dear HP Service Team,
I am writing to request a battery replacement for my HP laptop, as the battery has failed according to HP diagnostics.
Below are the battery and system details for your reference:
Warranty Type: 3
Battery Failure ID: REOOW
Cycle Count: 648 / 1000
Design Capacity: 52 WHr
Full Charge Capacity: 11 WHr (21%)
Serial Number: 41775 (Manufactured on 24/11/2019)
CT Number: 6HUFU0F81D1B1W
The laptop shuts down quickly when disconnected from AC power, and the battery no longer holds a proper charge.
Kindly let me know:
Whether the battery is eligible for replacement
The estimated cost and turnaround time
Any additional information or diagnostics required from my side
I would appreciate your guidance on the next steps.
Thank you for your support.

Hi:
This is a peer to peer forum, not HP customer support.
The battery should be covered under the terms of the warranty.
If the warranty is still in effect, then HP should replace the battery.
You can contact HP customer service starting at the link below:

If your notebook's warranty period has expired, then you will have to replace the battery at your expense.
If you enter your PC's product number in the search window at the link below, it will provide the battery part number and description of the battery your notebook uses:
