I have a elitebook 274op and i would like to use the fingerprint sensor but it isnt working. it is a validity sensor on version 2.3.0.0 and is not uptating or working at all. somebody plz help me as i will greattly appreciate it.

Hi:

 

In order for the fingerprint to work after the driver is installed, you also need to install the security software to enroll your fingerprint.

 

Your notebook is not supported by HP for W10, and the HP ProtectTools is not supported for W10, so the only suggestion I can offer, would be to use the W10 HP Client Security Manager software and see if you can work the fingerprint sensor with that...The HP Client Security Manager software superceded the ProtectTool software.

 

HP Client Security Manager provides enhanced Windows login and website single-sign-on capabilities. Security Manager is also the host for HP Client Security plugins, and therefore should be installed before other Client Security modules. This package is provided for supported models running a supported operating system.
