fingerprint sensor for hp g10 zbook studio not working after installing the driver also.

If it worked before and not after you updated the driver for some reason, the issue is not hardware related.

 

Go to the device manager, find the device and roll back the driver installation.

 

The image is just a device I chose arbitrarily as an example. Your Biometric device should show the rollback Driver as an option

Once you find the Biometric devices, right click on it and choose properties.

You will probably need to go back into the BIOS and  verify that the Biometric device is enabled.  Set it up again.by enabling fingerprint reset on reboot, then setting up the device to recognize your fingerprints.

One you have done that you will have to return and choose no for the fingerprint reset on reboot.

 

It would have helped if you had identified your ZBook further than just calling it a Zbook G10.
