255 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a  255 G7laptop running W10 Pro. It has 16gB of ram, one HDD and no optical drive.

I want to upgrade by fitting an additional HDD.

Is that possible on my device.

The series does not offer dual storage

Therefore you need to open your machine and check to see available slot/part. Page 57 of the following manual shows you location of HDD (if available) bay and part required to install 2.5" HDD.

Regards.

Opening up{removing the botom cover] certainly showed me that this is possible, and as well as the HDD i will require the following parts:-

1:-Hard drive bracket   p/no, L-20455-001

2:-HDD connector board  p/no, L-20454-001

The problem is that i can find nowhere to purchase these items. Can anyone help.

Thankyou.
