fitting new GPU

I bought my laptop mainly for editing photos, and some video, I now realise I need a different GPU to the one fitted, for canon DPP editing to work, so can I fit or get fitted the appropriate GPU for this on my model ?

Unfortunately, that would not be possible.

The graphics adapter is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

The motherboard would have to be replaced with one listed in chapter 3 of the service manual that may come with better graphics and you would probably need a new heat sink as well.

Since the notebook is a relatively new model, it would probably cost less to sell or trade in your notebook for one that comes with better graphics, than to find and purchase the parts you need to upgrade yours.
