Fn keys not working do I need to install some drivers?

Hi:

If you have installed the audio and graphics drivers and those components work fine, then the only other driver that you might need to get the Fn keys to work is this one...

This package contains the HP System Event Utility, which enables special function keys on supported notebook models to be programmed. For example, HP System Event Utility enables users to press the Fn+ESC keys to view system information. This software works with the supported operating systems.

If you have not installed any drivers, here is the link to your PC's driver page...

Thank you,

how do I know if I have audio and graphics installed?

You're very welcome.

Did you install the audio and graphics drivers from the link I posted?

If not, then you need to.

Assuming you installed the latest version of W10 and looking at the specs for your model notebook, these would be the audio and graphics drivers you should need...

Audio:

Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver - Raven Ridge/Stoney Ridge (Windows 10 v1809)

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp95001-95500/sp95470.exe

Graphics:

AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver - Vega 3/Vega 8/Vega 10 (Windows 10 v1809)

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp94501-95000/sp94817.exe

Restart the PC after installing each driver.

Then install the System Event Utility driver I posted earlier.

Sorry that none of my suggestions worked for you.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas for you to try.
