@ramacy101, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

It sounds like you're experiencing persistent graphics issues with your HP ProBook 455R G6. Here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Uninstall and Reinstall Graphics Driver:

    • Go to "Device Manager" on your laptop.
    • Expand the "Display adapters" section, right-click on your graphics driver, and select "Uninstall device."
    • Once uninstalled, reinstall the driver you downloaded from the HP Support website.
  2. Check AMD Graphics Settings:

    • If your laptop uses AMD Radeon graphics, open the AMD Radeon Settings software and check for any performance or driver settings that might be contributing to the crashes. You can reset to default settings to see if that resolves the issue.
  3. Install Previous Versions of the Driver:

    • Sometimes using an older driver version can stabilize performance if the latest drivers are problematic. Check the HP Support website for previous versions of the graphics driver and try installing one of those.
  4. Windows Update:

    • Make sure your Windows OS is up to date as some updates might include important fixes for system stability.
  5. Check for Hardware Issues:

    • Use HP’s in-built diagnostic tools to check if there are any hardware issues. Running a "System Test" can help identify problems with components on your laptop.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
