I am using Pavilion 15 ab254sa. Windows 10 (64-bit), Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.40 GHz. 8gb ram.
Am i able to replace my hard drive with NVMe SSD drive? Or which is the best type of internal storage I can use to speed up my computer. Thank you

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
HP Pavilion Notebook (Intel)Star WarsTM Special Edition Notebook Maintenance and Service Guide
Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
Only SATA drives are supported, even if your notebook has a M.2 slot.
On those earlier models, even though the manual indicates there is a M.2 slot, open up the PC first and confirm the slot is there before buying a M.2 SATA SSD.
If there is no M.2 slot, you can always replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD and the performance will be exactly the same between two of the same brand SSD's, be they 2.5" or M.2.
