Hi @ZaHra112,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with your HP Victus 15 laptop not charging, despite checking the battery and updating drivers. The blinking LED on the AC adapter indicates that there may be a problem with the charging system. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check the Power Adapter and Cable

  • Ensure the Adapter is Working: Verify that the power adapter is functioning correctly. If possible, try using a different compatible charger to see if the issue persists.
  • Inspect the Cable and Connections: Check for any visible damage to the cable or the charging port. Ensure the connection is secure.

2. Reset the Battery

Sometimes, resetting the laptop's battery can resolve charging issues.

  • Disconnect the Charger: Remove the charger from the laptop.
  • Remove the Battery (if removable): If your laptop has a removable battery, take it out.
  • Press and Hold the Power Button: Hold the power button for about 15-30 seconds to discharge any remaining power.
  • Reconnect the Battery and Charger: Reinsert the battery (if applicable) and reconnect the charger.

3. Check for Firmware or BIOS Updates

Ensure that your laptop's firmware or BIOS is up to date, as updates can sometimes resolve hardware-related issues.

4. Inspect the Charging Port

Examine the charging port for any dust, debris, or damage. A loose or damaged port can prevent proper charging.

5. Test with a Different Outlet

Try plugging the charger into a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the current one.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

  • Thanks for your guidlines, İ did steps you said but unfortunatly, it did not work. İn 7 days, when i was working with my laptop, i connected the charger but it didnot charge. Had to reset the battery to be ok. and charging again. But i know reseting the battery is the temporary solution.  İ still can not accept that problem is about battery because i bought that 9 months ago.
