(1) Required Battery

 

HP spare part number: 844199-855

HP compatible: 908319-855

4-cell, 38-WHr, 1.66-AHr, Li-ion battery (includes cable)

 

Maintenance and Service Guide

Page 28 Chapter 5 Removal and replacement procedures for Authorized Service Provider parts

(2) Check HP Partsurfer for spare parts. ( Possibly not available )

(3) Search on aftermarket ( ebay, aliexpress, amazon,  ... ) and catch genuine or compatible part.

Please pay attention to HP spare part number and specification.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

 

Pay attention, defective battery is dangerous !

Your apartment/house could be destroyed by a battery fire.

 

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

- Battery must be replaced !

- General cleaning ...

 

Replace battery and you are safe !

 

HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support

 

HP warranty expired:

If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
