i have had this laptop a couple of years and take very good care of it and use it maybe 3-4 days a week if that ...now i noticed that the body is separating and is being caused by the hinges...I had this similar issue with a G7 and found out it was due to design although HP will not admit it...i bought this one because it was a single hinge and figured it would be better and in my $$ range and could not go for the more exspensive model with a metal hinge....but now experiencing the same issue on this ...this seems to be a presisting problem with HP as i see it...I am truly trying to stay from switching all my products are HP, but i have noticed a decline in product .....Is it worth fixing and how much should it cost and will HP take responibility of out of warranty.......
