No that is not what you want to do and it cannot be done anyway. The BIOS sets the SATA to ahci and no way to change it. You have the Skylake generation processor and it will not allow installation of Windows 7 via USB unless you slipstrean in a special driver to the Windows 7 install:

There is no setting in more modern notebooks like yours that allows a means of changing the SATA settings in the BIOS.
You will have to slipstream a SATA driver to the installation media and then make the change with a registry edit.
