Hello , ive been using HP Pavilion  x360 Convertible 14-dy0xxx for a good amount of years and I wanted to upgrade the RAM, but I don't really how to disassemble my laptop. or , how do I open up the laptop.

Here is the Service Manual:

 

Manual 

 

Start on p. 29 and follow directions. The hard part is the two long rubber strips. Be very careful removing them. If you stretch the rubber it will be hard to get them back in the channels. Also try to take the adhesive off with the strip so it can be reused. If the adhesive comes off the strips you can use a couple drops of rubber cement (not volatile model glue).

Thanks for sharing the service manual! I appreciate the heads-up about the rubber strips; handling them with care is definitely key. It’s smart to reuse the adhesive if possible, and I hadn’t thought of using rubber cement great tip! I’ll keep all this in mind as I go through the process.
