I can't update the original post so if the moderators could move this post that would be great because this is the solution

Update
I replaced the nvme with a nvme samsung evo pro
Live image booted with no problem and Fedora 32 installed without issue
So I assume it was encrypted somehow although I could not find it
Or the nvme was not compatible with linux
What ever it was linux is working fine now with the new nvme ssd

I also installed 16 GB of ram with no problems
