Product: HP 7 Plus 1301 Tablet - NOT SL

have had this tablet for a few years and love it.  mostly for reading ebooks.  the other day the POWER BUTTON disappeared inside the tablet.  have found the user manual to remove the back and will probably use that to open it and look for button but am not anticipating success.  ALSO, the part #774999-001 is currently NOT available for purchase on HP site.  have also checked amazon as well as other laptop/tablet replacement part sites.  none available.  any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  thanks

Hi,

 

HP abandoned cheap Android tablets (HP 7 and HP 7 G2 series) around 2 years ago.  Dell did the same after that. I can't find part number 774999-001 on eBay.

Hi,

 

HP abandoned cheap Android tablets (HP 7 and HP 7 G2 series) around 2 years ago.  Dell did the same after that. I can't find part number 774999-001 on eBay.

thanks for your feedback.  i thought that was the answer.  will figure something out.  have alot of stuff on it that will need to be retrieved.  whatever..............
