Product: Hp Envy X360 convertible 15-cp0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ive looked up whether i can upgrade this laptop from 8 to 16gb and have had contrasting opinions. Is it possible to do this upgrade or does it have one of the ram cards soldered to the motherboard. Also can anyone please confirm the memory type as the articles also state different versions. Any help very much appreciated, TIA

Yes, you can upgrade to 16 GB RAM. You can install 8 RAM on each slot. 

 

For part# and instructions, please refer to page# 30 from the Service Guide.
