hp laptop keeps saying repairing disk errors

@Tperkins88 -- that is a strong indication that the disk-drive is in "imminent failure" status.

If Windows still starts-up, IMMEDIATELY make a copy of all your Personal Files, either onto a high-capacity USB memory-stick (64 GB? 128 GB?) or to an external disk-drive.

 

Then, unless you are familiar with disassembling your computer, and replacing some components, take your computer (and any external power-supply) to an owner/operator computer store, and pay them to replace the disk-drive (preferably with a high-performance SSD) and to reinstall Windows, and to restore your Personal Files from the backup that you created.
