So, AGAIN, my omen laptop wont charge while on, but when switched off charges just fine, I've reinstalled the bios and the battery and A/C files, and I've done around 10 hard resets, even reset the bios settings. Nothing is working. I don't think there's an issue with the A/C as the pc charges up quite fast while off. this is the 2nd time this has happened and a hard reset fixed it the first time, not sure if a system restore or a windows reset will work.
Any ides please don't want to have to pay someone to fix this issue.
Thanks.

What in the world are "A/C files" or "the A/C"?
I know quite a bit about laptop and desktop PC hardware and operating systems, but I have never heard that term in use.
Is your notebook in warranty?
The following suggestion will not damage your hardware or your operating system.
I would enter the Device Manager and delete the ACPI Compliant Battery Control Method device. After you have done that you can right-click on anything in the Device Manager to get to the menu that shows scan for hardware changes. The operating system will reinstall the ACPI Compliant Battery Control Method device.
That may resolve your charging issues from an operating system standpoint.
If that does not resolve the battery charging issue, there may be a fault in the battery charging circuit on the system board.
That is why I asked about warranty. Replacing the system board is rather involved as the operating system license activation key is linked inextricably to the system board. That is Microsoft's current mode of operating system licensing on their licensing servers. That makes replacing the system board a matter of also replacing the operating system.

?
What you meant to say is not clear. Kindly rephrase it.
Since the device still charges when not turned on, I wouldn't delete the Microsoft AC Adapter device.
