Hello, I've had my hp pavilion x360 notebook (m3-u103dx) for about 3 years now and I've been having issues with my battery. I charge my laptop but the battery drains very fast. The charge percentage even fluctuates before my eyes. Last night I charged it to 100% and shut it down but I just turned it back on it was at 40% I know these machines dont last forever but i cant really afford an upgrade right now. Does anyone know if HP has a webstore where I could purchase a new battery? Any help and suggestions are welcome

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are looking for a replacement battery for your computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
You can purchase all the replacement parts available for your computer from the HP part surfer.
Follow the steps in the below article for detailed instructions.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00372736
Or else you can contact the support team and they will assist you in ordering the part.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I am looking for a battery for the same machine as the original poster (Pavilion x360 m3-u103dx). I went through the website trying to figure out what part to order but no results are returned, no matter what variation of the model name I enter. The parts finder website is not really functional. I also tried using the chat to talk to a product sales specialist but there are no chat agents available. I also tried chatting with support staff but it kept kicking me over to the Virtual Agent (it kept making me enter my serial number -- I guess I am ineligible to chat with a real live support agent because my computer is out of warranty? that seems kind of ridiculous). This has been really frustrating. I even tried just Googling to see if I could buy the battery elsewhere and I found some off-brand ones on Amazon, but there were reviews saying that the battery didn't fit properly or in one case actually destroyed the person's computer. So I would REALLY rather order the correct manufacturer-brand battery from HP and don't understand why they make this so difficult (unless HP would just prefer that I buy a new machine entirely). Would an HP staff member be able to locate a product number for the battery for this machine for us and post it here? (And also pass along the feedback that the parts finder wesbite is less than useful?) Thanks so much!

Hello,
From what I was able to gather through research it seems to be the HP web store doesn't have this battery anymore. I went through the list of accepted parts suppliers they have and found a company that sells the battery but I have not purchase it yet.
These are the battery specs:
- HP Battery - 3C 41Whr 3.6Ah LI ON030 - 915486-85
5
And the site they put on their list of supported retailers is this
https://www.itpas.com/hp-battery-3c-41whr-36ah-li-on030-915486-855-oem.html
Mind you I'm thinking of opening my laptop and verify any serial numbers or anything of the sort myself. Battery comes out to around 102 dollars after taxes and shipping. It's more expensive than the amazon ones but given that it comes from a recommended seller by HP themselves it might be the safest option.
They also offer a list of business that do repairs for the brand and I found one in my area but they want me to drop off my pc for 2 days for them to diagnose? Which I'm not too keen on. So I might end up doing this myself through the aid of instruction videos
