OK but that means running the laptop with the bottom off and the insides exposed to the air while you run it. Also keep in mind its a 1x PCie slot. eGPU will work and you will get better frame rates than the internal video chip, but it all seems kind of a frankenstein sort of setup not to mention very pricey for all the components you need. But I have seen it work so can't say it will not.

I said that in the first answer. No way to reroute the signal back into the laptop.
Look at this:

You have no M.2 slot by the way but this piece talks about some of the issues and shows using an external monitor. eGPU is a great idea in theory but loses some of the charm in the actual execution.

By browsing an eBay or a AliExpress websites you can find lots of solutions to connect external GPU but there is no 'NICE' way to do that. One of the fastest is to use existing WiFi module slot that uses a mini-pci-e slot. That is nearly perfect bandwith for a normal desktop GPU but you need an PSU also for that. Other forums also talks about soldered on motherboard graphics cards and that intel is soldered on the motherboard. Nope nope nope. Intel HD is a part of the i3, i5, i7 and i9 CPU and you can upgrade that by simply switching to a better CPU (from i3 to i5 etc) but that is not allways money wise. Other things is not considered and YOU WILL LOOSE warranty by doing that is considering with professional microsolderer to look at the schematics and compatability of the gpu's that CAN be soldered on the motherboards. All motherboards has a nearly similar designs and the layout is nearly similar.
In other words there is a way to solder GDDR5 for example and a gpu on the motherboard and it will work perfectly.
but again, considering the amount of work, the price of the parts, the bill for the job of the technician, and the nerves needed for the work... you may consider a new laptop or maybe a alptop with a discreet graphics card but easy upgradability by simply changint the chips.
External GPU is external and will not have the performance of the desktop.. There is allways a desktop for that 🙂
