My pen doesn't write. It only draws a dot at the spot I lift the pen whenever attempt to write. However when I click any of the buttons it works just fine. The front button erases like normally and the other one draws the select line with no problem. My laptop is a Microsoft surface pro and the pen worked well with it but then suddenly stopped working.
I tried reaching HP support but they couldn't find the product using the serial number.

- Have you tried updating the HP Tilt Pen Driver?
- Have you tried updating the BIOS and chipset driver?
