Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have an HP Spectre x360 laptop that frequently crashes due to a blue screen error. I have tried updating the drivers from the HP website and the issue persists.  I also notice that I am not the only HP Spectra laptop owner who has written about this issue since 2017 and obviously HP has not resolved this issue as of 4/17/20 since I do not see any solutions to fixing this issue via the web.  Is there anything I am missing as far as a solution to my very expensive laptop blue screening on me when I let it sit without touching my keyboard for 10-15 minutes.  AND YES, I HAVE TRIED MOST OF YOUR SUGGESTION SOLUTIONS AND THEY HAVE NOT WORKED.  Much appreciate a solution.

@tstepup I understand the computer gets a blue screen error, However, since you haven’t captured the error code or message,

I would request you to follow the below steps to capture and reply back with the error message/code to identify the issue and find a permanent fix:

  • In Windows, search for and open View advanced system settings.
  • In the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
  • Under System Failure, remove the check mark next to automatically restart, and then click OK.
  • Restart the computer to apply the change.
  • The computer no longer restarts automatically when a blue screen error occurs.

For more details: click here

Please reply back with the error code as the issue is code specific and it would be rather easier to provide an accurate solution using the same.
