hp spectre slow/sticky keyboard

I've had my HP Spectre since spring 2020 but for the past 4 months or so I've started to have keyboard issues. The keyboard seems to be slow in responding and often the keys don't work at all until I hold down on all of the keys in the column as I read on another forum. I've cleaned the keyboard several times with an aerosol spray, updated and reinstalled the driver many times, as well as updating the operating system when prompted, but still the problem persists. It's very annoying but sometimes if I use the laptop for a little while (say 15 minutes) the problem seems to go away more as I keep typing. I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software problem as different forums have suggested all kinds of things but I would like to find a solution. When I run diagnostics on the keyboard, it never finds anything.

Hi, @joycek98 have you tried using an external keyboard? It could be that the internal keyboard has hardware issues.

I haven't but since I move around with the laptop frequently I was hoping to find a solution that could avoid having another keyboard to take with me. But the problem is strange because I struggled to type the message above, but now that i have been using the keyboard for several minutes it's very easy to type.
