Dear HP Support,
I am writing to report a serious hardware issue with my HP Victus 16 laptop. Despite handling the device with utmost care, the hinge has broken. Upon researching, I found that this is a very common problem with HP Victus models, including mine. This appears to be a design or manufacturing defect, not user damage.
This issue has occurred within 3 years of purchase, and I am extremely disappointed with the build quality, especially considering the high cost of the device. I request that HP take responsibility for this defect and provide a free repair or hinge replacement, even if the warranty has expired.
Attached are photos clearly showing the damaged hinge and separated casing. I kindly ask for this to be escalated to the concerned technical team or HP regional service manager, if required.
I also have a reddit user who has same problem and got fixed without any cost , https://www.reddit.com/r/HPVictus/comments/1f3yktc/hinge_issue/ you can check this also this is not an user problem .
Looking forward to a quick and helpful resolution
