i am unable to light up my keboard backlight on my HP EliteBook 845 G7 Notebook PC (2E6G8UC) . Porably could be the driver issue , i am usiing ubuntu 23

HP EliteBook 845 G7 Notebook PC has many different models/products. They can have 1 of the following keyboards

 

  • Backlit, spill resistant, HP Dura Keys
  • Backlit, spill resistant, HP Dura Keys, privacy
  • Not backlit, spill resistant, HP Dura Keys

Does your machine have any F* key with backlit symbol  banhien_0-1709007519154.jpeg  ?  If yes, please try

hi @banhien , My machine do has a fn key and another with with backlit symbol key but upon using fn and that symbol key togeather , it doesnt make it lit . So backlit isnt getting on, How to overcome this ???
