In my model description, it was stated that I am meant to have a keyboard back light, I have spent the entirety of today searching for how to turn it on. I have upgraded my BIOS to the latest version (F.24) yet no difference, there is a key on my keyboard which is meant to be the toggle key for my keyboard backlight but doesn't even have a label on it, only 'F4'. I have gone ahead to read the description of the BIOS F.24 I updated to, and it clearly states that it supports keyboard backlight for my device. I am clueless as to why it isn't turning on, I even went ahead to search my device manager for a keyboard backlight, but I can't find anything. Please if you can help me, I would be very grateful because the merchant I bought this from said it has the keyboard backlight and now I feel I have been ripped off. If there is any way I can fix this, please enlighten me, maybe there is an activation driver I need to download because all my drivers are up to date.

We should see if there is a backlit keyboard, but it should cost approximately $200.
Consult the service manual, note the part number, and search for the part online.
