i have HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk1511TX laptop thinking of upgrading ram, which vendor would be better for purchasing ram. Also there is confusion in ram as the diagnostic show max speed 3200 MHz whereas online specification shows 2933 MHz

It has 16 GB want to increase it to 32gb. would Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz CL22 be supported, believe we can have 16gb and 16gb in two slots.

You should be fine with just installing the one new Crucial memory chip.

They indicate that part number is compatible with your notebook:

Hi:

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it comes with 1 x 16 GB of memory.

Since DDR4-2933 memory is not easy to find, I would go with this one:

Amazon.in: Buy Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz CL22 Laptop Memory CT16G4SFRA32A Online at Low Prices ...

The DDR4-3200 memory automatically bridges to 2933 MHz.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that 2 x 16 GB of memory is supported.
