I currently have hp laptop windows 11   64 bit 4gb ram 2133..and want to add another 4gb stick but not sure which one to buy.

There are several model HP 14" notebooks especially those with the Intel Pentium and Celeron processors that only have one memory slot.

I suggest you open up the notebook and confirm that because according to chapter 1 of the maintenance and service guide on your notebook's user guides page, the notebook has one memory slot and supports 1 x 8 GB of DDR4 memory.

Supports up to 8 GB of system RAM

The Crucial memory report for your notebook indicates the same as I did in my first reply and the service manual also stated.

Of the memory listed in the Crucial report, I recommend you replace the 4 GB memory chip with this 8 GB one:

I opened it it had 2 slots..should  I remove the 1 4gb and replace with an 8gb or have 2 4gb running simultaneously?

Is there mounting hardware in the empty slot to install the memory in?

If there are, you may want see if the notebook will support 16 GB of memory (2 x 8 GB).

You can buy two of those 8 GB Crucial DDR4-2400 memory chips.

The Intel product specs for the processor indicate it can support up to 64 GB of memory.
