i want to upgrade my cpu intel Core i3-2350M processor 2.3 GHz  to Intel Core i5-2450M processor 2.5 GHz....i checked compatibility it should work both have

Socket G2 988-pin sandy bridge

 

I just want to confirm it may cause any heating issues or not

Hi,

 

Yes the processor is compatible with your PC as you can see on page 74 of service manual.

 

It will not create any overheating problems as long as you use quality thermal paste such as Arctic mx4 or similar and make sure the fan is in good condition. Actually it will probably run cooler than before with quality thermal material.
