Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my ram while i start saving for a better PC. Is my memory card soldered or upgradeable

According to parts list below, your model came with a 4 GB DDR4-2666 memory which is not soldered. Your memory is upgradable.

HP PartSurfe

 

Your model has an AMD 3020e processor which is not on the list of processors that come with 255 G7 series (see page 1 of the service manual).

To find out the max RAM capacity of your notebook, click this link and run the wmic command. If it reports 16 GB, your model supports 2 x 8 GB DDR4-2666 memory. if 8 GB, 2 x 4 GB, since your motherboard has two memory slots.
