2.5" SSD are checp now, why not go for 1TB SSD and 1TB HDD. Anyway, I have not tried WD SSD's but I know Crucial, Samsun, SanDisk. I believe WD owns SanDisk therefore its SSD's should be very similar if not the same.
I short, you can use WD or to be sure: Crucial MX500/BX500 or Samsung 860 EVO series.
