i cannot update my laptop to its new update of windows 10 message of error code (0x8024a105) pops up  any info why ?

It also says these programs prevent update " & its reffering to "Hp Pavilion Notebook " Cant seem to find it any where on my laptop

HP calls their laptops, notebooks in most of their documentation.  We old_geeksters still refer to them as laptops.

Back to the last century, old people like you and me called them as laptops but one day people realized they COULD NOT put laptops on their laps because laptops could burn their laps in no time. I think latops became notebooks from that time.

Pavilion products from HP have been around over a decade that means dozens if not hundreds of machines called Pavilion notebooks/laptops around. We need exactly what is your machine to be able to help.

Hello ChicagoFan23, 

Well, this Windows 10 0x8024a105 Update Problem is quite common these days. 

But the good news here is that it is pretty easy to solve as well.
