Open a command-line prompt, by holding-down the "Windows" key (bottom-left of your keyboard) and clicking 'R', and then releasing the "Windows" key.
Type: CMD
Press ENTER
Type: CLS
Press ENTER
Type: ECHO ABC
Press ENTER
Press the 'F5' key, and tell us what happens, or tell us if nothing happens.
Try it with both the "internal" keyboard and the "external" USB-connected keyboard.

So, the 'F5' key on your internal keyboard is not working, while the 'F5' keyboard on the external keyboard works fine.
Is there anything (dirt? hair? cookie chip? bread crumbs?) hidden underneath the "key-cap" ?
