Hello, is it possible to install a keyboard with backlight on my model HP 17 BY 1039ur ?

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

 

Unfortunately, not all HP notebook models come equipped with backlit keyboards, and this feature is often not upgradeable if the model was not originally designed with this capability. According to the maintenance guidelines, the backlight function only works if the notebook is designed to support it.

 

If your HP 17 BY 1039ur does not have a backlit keyboard and was not originally manufactured with one, adding a backlit keyboard may not be feasible.
