Good Day. Thanks for visiting the HP community. I reviewed the post regarding information to know if the computer came with a backlit keyboard. It will be a pleasure to assist you here.
Commendable diagnosis, superb troubleshooting and splendid description of the issue before posting. Hats off to you on that score. 🙂
To assist you with accurate information I would require more information regarding this:
- Did you check the product specifications and user guide of the computer?
For now, let me keep you posted about a few things here:
- Product specs link: https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c05521587 (HP Pavilion x360 - 15-br010nr Product Specifications)
- User guide link: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05638967 refer to pages 10-17 for the keyboard area.
The notebook does not have a backlit keyboard and it is not designed to get one replaced also. I am being candid about it by keeping your best interest in mind without beating around the bush.
Don’t contact any local technician as none of the backlit keyboards have been tested by HP for this model. I am trying to save you some money here as well.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.
Take care and have a blessed week ahead. 🙂
