HP ENVY x360 15-dr1029nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'd like to ask which is the best strategy to increase my new laptop battery endurance.
I use the laptop for job and it'is powered on all day long.
Seen that the newest laptop models don't allow to detach the battery pack because of it's enclosed (built-in) inside the computer case, what should I do:
- leave the laptop always attached to the energy power supply
- let the battery level to reach the 100%, detach it from the energy power supply, leave the power to decrease up to 8%-10% for usage and then attach it again... and so on...
Believe me It's really boring 😐
Any suggestion?
Thank You in advance

Rule of thumb: if AC power is available, use it. Use the battery when you must. Don't let battery charge fall below about 15%. Otherwise don't worry too much about it. The battery is smart and will not overcharge or be harmed by being attached to AC power.

Thank You for your reply Huffer.
I'll follow your suggestions.
I was worried and didn't know how to move myself in this context.
Recently I've read a lot about it and You confirmed me in advance the best way how to manage batteries when using a laptop as a desktop.
Hope HP will integrate its documentation about this concern inside the box of every new laptop.
Regards 🙂

Laptop attached to AC power ---> BATTERY STATE 100% not charging ---> And that's all 😉

It will stop charging when it hits 100%. Run it down to say 85% on battery and see if it then charges when plugged back in. Battery looks fine from what you posted.
