hello i have a elitebook 840 g6 and the fan keeps running all the time and making noise although im not doing nothing big on my laptop like surfing the web or just watching offline videos 

i tried changing power plans and doing all the updates and no results 

please help

Hello.

 

Update BIOS first. Check the Windows Task Manager and Resource Monitor for processes that tax the CPU. Clean the vents for dust.
