HP 15s-fq1505na 15.6" Laptop - Intel® Core™ i5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi guys. first post. i bought this laptop from currys last week and stupid me decided to change the screen from a tn to an ips pannel. took me hours to try to ficure out how to remove the tn pannel. i came to the conclution that the pannel was proberbly glued to the back of the laptop case, am i correct? i've changed screens before and they came out in minutes by removing a few screws but this one had me beat. anyway i gave up and reasembled the laptop but when i turned it on i found i'd damaged the screen while trying to remove it, stupid i know. now i'll have to get it done by a proffessional which will cost me. anyway, i've heard that some screens now are an integral part of the laptop and cannot be replaced is that right? what is the best way to remove the screen on this laptop? i don't want to force it as i could snap the case. any ideas guys?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue and apologize for the inconvenience caused.

To get the answer to this question, the display is not an integrated part, however, in most HP laptop computers the display is not a consumer replaceable part.
