Hey there! My left shift key suddenly just stopped working. I've looked at the sticky keys, tried bringing the computer back to factory standard, tried uninstalling the keyboard drivers, tried updating the drivers, and taken off the key and cleaned underneath it.

 

It works fine if I attach a USB keyboard, so it's gotta be a hardware issue. One of my IT friends suggested that it may be a bad sensor, but I can't figure out how to fix that if I can. Help? I really don't want to have to bring it in for maintenance if at all possible.
