Hey,

So i recently lost my battery charger for my hp x360 13.

Assumebly the laptop can be charged by USB C. Now i do have a USB C to USB C cable at home but i am not sure which power adapter i can use, since using the wrong one can damage my laptop.

How many voltage and watts is the power adapter on the original charger? As far as i know it should be 65 Watts. But i have no idea about the voltage.

And one more question:

What would happen if i used the charger of another company, for example Dell. I also found another hp charger at home, which says 10 A  250 V ~ on the plug. Would that be fine to use?

Thanks for the answer!

Hello @AstroNut2122

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

You cannot use USB Type-C for charging the notebook battery.

Hello @Ub6424

Thanks for such a quick reply and the link.

But would you know about using an older charging cable from hp?

The input is : 100-240 V, 1.4A  50-60 Hz

The output : +19.5V   2.31A   45W MAX

Thanks again 🙂

Output does not match, this will not work.

Right:

OUTPUT: 19.5V 3.33A, 65W

Wrong:

output : +19.5V   2.31A   45W

Kind regards
