Hi,
Im thinking of upgrading my laptop to a faster disk due to problems with my current one.
I wanted to insert a m.2 SSD.
Is my laptop compatible (does it have a slot for one) ?
current spec:
i5 6200U
12GB RAM
2TB HDD
Also, is it possible to add a m.2 ssd as well as having a normal sata hdd and have them run alongside eachother?
Any advise appreciated.

No. On your model series there is only an M.2 slot on specific models that have an i7 processor and a 4 gig dedicated video card. Yours has an i5 and 2 gig video card so it has no M.2 slot.
See p. 1 here:
Your speediest option is a 2.5 inch SATA SSD which is still much faster than a mechanical hard drive.
