My keyboard and mouse work in Bios. System Diagnosis says everything passes perfectly. I boot into windows and the keyboard stops working. I have to plug in an external mouse and keyboard to do anything. I have deleted and allowed Windows to reinstall the HID devices; it did not fix it. I have opened the case, verified the cables are firmly in place, and reclosed. This device is a 360 with tablet mode, so I'm thinking a sensor or something is wrong. Where is the sensor, or what else might be the issue?

This is likely to be a Windows 11 compatibility issue.
Your laptop is not support for Windows 11 by HP.
That means that not everything will work as expected with Windows 11 installed.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to find the Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver that is for your laptop model. The lack of an updated driver is probably the most likely culprit.
