Going to upgrade the ram in my laptop but am unsure of the maximum amount i can put in

Hi:

 

I think all of the HP 2000 notebooks support a max of 2 x 4 GB of memory.

 

Check the chapter 1 of service manual of your specific model HP 2000 to find the memory upgrade info.

There are literally thousands of different HP 2000 models made over a range of 5 or so years.
