OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop 16-n0000 (5B1T8AV)

Hi, I own a hp omen 16-n0013nl. I'd like to upgrade my ram. I cannot find the specification ofthe maximum ram and frequency available. Using a software scan app of crucial, it appears i could upgrade my laptop up to 64gb and higher frequecy than 4800mhz. I am not sure anyway, because the model found was omen 16-n0000. What should I buy?

The Maintenance & Service guide for your laptop (for parts and specifications reference)

The memory specification is DDR5-4800, 1.1 V, dual-channel support.

DDR5-4800 is in the range of 4800 Mhz to 6000 Mhz.

I see precisely  why you are asking. I also wonder what is up with Crucial on this.

The HP specs show DDR5 and Crucial is offering DDR4, which won't physically fit in the soDIMM slots.

I am pretty certain it is a marketing mistake and they are not aware of it.

They advertise DDR5-5600  modules for the  HP OMEN 16-n0033dx laptop.

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp-compaq/hp-omen-16-n0033dx

I have the HP PartSurfer data for your laptop and it is DDR5-4800 1.1v NECC.

https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer/?searchtext=6G251PA

Crucial Memory  absolutely dropped the ball on your laptop.

Thank you a lot! So it seems that the maximum is 32GB in total. But, just to be sure, what do you mean for "DDR5-4800 is in the range of 4800 Mhz to 6000 Mhz."? Can I choose even higher frequency than 4800MHz?
Thank you again!

It is the specification for DDR5-4800 memory. DDR5-4800 memory is what you will need to install to satisfy the BIOS requirements.
