According to the specs for your notebook the max is DDR4-2400.

You could install faster memory such as DDR4-2666 MHz or DDR4-3200 MHz, but it will automatically bridge to 2400 MHz.

Use the free utility that I zipped up and attached below that will tell you what speed memory HP installed in your notebook.
It might be a 2666 MHz chip running at 2400 MHz, and if it is, I would buy another 2666 Mhz memory chip.
Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook. They offer compatible memory for sale.
