missing storage

I decided to reinstall Windows and I did and I still didn't find that storage

Hi:

I don't quite understand the problem.

Your screenshot shows the DVD drive listed there as drive D:\

If your notebook has two disk drives installed, then one of them has probably become physically disconnected.

I would take the notebook apart and check that the connections to the second hard drive are good and tight.

what about that unknown device can it be the missing disk?

I don't think so.

Please post the product number of your notebook, and also post the hardware ID's for the unknown devices and I will give you the links to the W7 drivers you need for those.

I still believe you have a hardware issue on your hands regarding the missing drive.

I have not done anything rather installing Linux why would that cause that idk
